Rive Gauche Hotel - Saumur

Charming location with a lovely river view. Unfortunately, the bathroom light was broken .

fairly clean hotel with incredible staff, its location is marvellous and lovely. they serve lots of meals, the food i tried was great.

Bright hotel in a great location close to centre of town, loved this place. Location: the property was right by brasseries, bars and restaurants, river and the restaurant. Also, it was convenient to visit a performing arts theater...

Staying at Rive Gauche in Saumur gave us a good glimpse of river life. The room was clean and bright, offering charming decor and a lovely view of the Loire. I appreciated the clever use of space. It felt cozy but not cramped, perfect for our couple getaway. The staff stood out with their warm welcome and genuine hospitality, we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was also commendable, good value for the quality it provided. We did experience some noise from the street, especially in the evening was good. And tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been a nice touch after a long day of exploring. Even though there were positives, these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise enjoyable stay.

The stairs woudl ve been a charming touch, but they are an absolute death trap, and good luck carrying any luggage. The fact that the restaurant was 'closed' because they lost the chef is both hilarious and utterly unacceptable. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

During our stay, we enjoyed the wonderful view of the river from our balcony room, which the owner had kindly arranged for us. Exploring Saumur, especially the impressive castle, was a highlight, even though it was closed on the day of our visit. The location proved to be a great base for our trips in the surrounding area. Free parking nearby added to the convenience of our visit.

This was just a decent option for a short stint in Saumur with a good price-value balance. The staff were lovely and cute, making us feel at home. Look for the free parking on the riverbank. It's convenient if you're driving.

Awesome place with excellent amenities including wi-fi, a bar area, and express check-in. I remember how staff helped return my forgotten hairbrush. I highly recommend it for your stay. I'm coming back for a city trip!

This venue had a fantastic location just a short walk from the city center with plenty of dining options nearby, such as Le Shanghai only a 5-minute walk away.

Comfortable and cozy, my room was equipped with everything I needed - an electric kettle for a hot cuppa ☕, central heating to stay warm, and a convenient work desk.

The accommodations here are spacious and well-maintained, plus the breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly.
